All of our dogs have basically free reign of our home, along with having their own room that is heated & cooled for there comfort, they are also supplied with doggie beds, toys & TV. They have a doggie door that leads outside to their fenced in play yard, where they roam & explore.
For our Mom's & Puppies, we have our Nursery. Where we have private little rooms set-up for each Mom to share with their babies. This is heated & cooled for their comfort also. This helps New Moms to have a quiet atmosphere to concentrate on there new babies. We closely monitor the Mom's and babies, to make sure that all is going well, and assist.
Our family is hands-on all the time with our Schnauzers. Someone is always playing or just cuddling with them. We make sure that each has one on one time with us each day. We are able to do this because we are a small family breeder. We take great pride in how well adjusted and happy our dogs & puppies are.
Puppies are guaranteed to be spoiled rotten before they go to their new home.
Sugarland specializes in breeding AKC SUPER- COATS in the dark, rich colors.
I believe in breeding only the highest quality to produce our rare colors and thick coats. Each puppy enters into the world with my care and help. All of our puppies (except teacups) will be ready for their new homes at eight weeks of age. The Teacups are much smaller, so we base there readiness upon there size and weight. Most Teacups are ready to go to there new homes at about 10 to 12 weeks of age.
All of our Puppies are health checked by our Vet and given a health clearance before going to there new homes.
Along with their Sugarland Baby, new pet parents will receive:
** AKC Registration Application
** Full 3 generation pedigree
** 1 -3 year Health Guarantee against life threatening genetic defects
** 1st 5-Way puppy vaccine
** For extra protection, all of Sugarland's puppies are also given a Parvo only vaccine called "Neopar". This vaccine gives your puppy the most protection against parvo. However, this vaccine should not be counted as one of the three vaccines needed to complete your puppy's vaccinations. This is just extra protection we like to give to help your fur baby get a good start in life.
** We also give the Bordetella (Kennel Cough/Canine Cough) vaccine to all of our puppies. Bordetella (Kennel Cough/Canine Cough) is like the common cold in humans, the organisms that cause Canine Cough AKA - Kennel Cough are airborne. Possible sources of infections include Grooming Salons, Kennels, Veterinary Office, etc. This is why we vaccinate our puppies before they leave to give that added protection againest Bordetella (Kennel Cough/Canine Cough). We only use the nasal type vaccine for Bordetella. This vaccine is another step we take to insure that your puppy is happy and healthy.
